Enrique Martinez was 26 years old when gunfire ended his life during a traffic stop in Chicago on November 4, 2024. He was a Police Officer with the Chicago Police Department, assigned to the 6th District, Gresham. His badge number was 8314. Behind those identifiers was a young public servant whose life should have continued far beyond that day. The loss is difficult to hold in ordinary language.
